Analytics
Section titled “Analytics”Analytics is currently disabled. No Google Analytics tag is loaded and no analytics data is sent to Google. The following describes the prepared, inactive opt-in integration.
If activated, Google Analytics will load only after you select Allow analytics. Refusing will not limit access. Analytics settings will let you withdraw consent, stop future collection, clear accessible analytics cookies, and reload if the tag is running. Withdrawal does not erase previously received data.
The prepared integration disables advertising personalization and Google signals, removes page query strings and fragments, and sends only the origin of the referring page. It uses a 180-day non-refreshing consent/cookie lifetime. Google can receive page views, cookie identifiers, browser/device information and approximate location. Review Google’s explanation and privacy policy.
The property is configured for two-month event and user retention, without resetting the period on new activity. Google says retention-setting changes can take 24 hours to apply. This does not limit most aggregated reports. Page views, scrolls and video engagement are enabled; enhanced outbound-click, site-search, form and download measurement are off. Google signals is off. Granular location/device collection remains enabled. The site strips its page query strings and fragments before configuring the tag; property-wide query-key redaction is not enabled.
Local preferences and delivery
Section titled “Local preferences and delivery”Starlight search runs in your browser. Theme preferences may be stored locally. Hosting and external font providers receive requests needed to deliver pages and fonts; declining analytics does not mean that no network requests occur. Clearing site data removes local preferences.
